Nitrogen is an essential macronutrient and it has several key roles in crop production. Nitrogen is a component of amino acids; amino acids form proteins which form structural components. Nitrogen is also a component of enzymes, which are important to biochemical processes and reactions within the plant, and it's an important part of chlorophyll. The three main nitrogen loss pathways are volatilization, denitrification, and leaching. Eclipse-D 30 is a liquid formulation of DCD that helps stabilize the nitrogen molecule in the soil, helping protect the nitrogen from gassing off in the atmosphere (denitrification) and moving downward through the soil profile (leaching). Eclipse-D 30 was designed to help protect nitrogen from denitrification and leaching, but also to increase nutrient use efficiency and maximize agronomic ROI.
